About a month ago my darling son grabbed my iPhone while my back was turned and he gave it a good ole plunge in the commode. I had heard putting it in a bag of rice for 3 days would soak up all the moisture. So I put it into a bag of brown rice because since we are trying to lead a healthier lifestyle- no white rice in this house. Brown rice didn't do a good enough job. My phone worked for about 24 hours and then finally died.
I was thoroughly depressed because I am like all other iPhone users, OBSESSED! That thing carries my life in it, my calendar, calorie counter, exercise tracker, music, movies, and so much more! Lesh saw how depressed I was and started investigating how if possible he could fix it. Fast forward several weeks and we have a working mother board that Lesh bought on eBay. A connector was broken that is microscopic tiny he had to use a magnifying lens to see and bought an extra tiny soldering tool and presto magic he fixed it! My husband can pretty much fix anything he gets his hands on. I had to brag on his great abilities to resuscitate my phone! Here is a picture of his miraculous work! That is a Q-Tip so you can compare the size.
