Easter!

This year's Easter was so much fun!  Nathaniel is at a great age to truly understand the meaning of Easter- Jesus is Risen!!  We had a great time dying eggs, going to Easter egg hunts, and spending time with family.  One sweet moment was when we were praying for our Easter meal and Nana was talking about what Jesus did after he rose from the dead and Nathaniel piped in and said, "He went to see all his friends!"  So sweet!  Samuel had a fun time too and got into the egg hunt after a few minutes. 

 

On Good Friday we had powdered donuts for breakfast- a treat! And daddy was home so we dyed eggs!

 

 

On Saturday Nathaniel and I headed to HEB for the egg hunt.

I made resurrection buns to help explain the meaning of Easter to Nathaniel. 

They were yummy too!

 

Then after church on Sunday we headed to Nana and Papa's house.  Nana has a table set up for the boys and she always decorates it so cute.  They have a little treat bowl and Nathaniel always asks Nana if there is something new in his treat bucket.  Both boys had fun discovering their goodies!
