He is Risen! He is Risen indeed!

This weekend was a whirlwind of a weekend! Our good friend Joy got married this Easter weekend. Lesh, Nathaniel and I went to the rehearsal in Magnolia and then headed to dinner at Los Cucos. The next morning I got up early, not really because I'm normally awake this early with Nathaniel. I left the house at 6:45 am to head to my makeup and hair appointment with the bridal party. My mom came over to watch Nathaniel. Needless to say at the end of the day I was so tired! It was great to see old friends and see my sweet friend get married. It was a beautiful outdoor wedding at Ashelynn Manor in Magnolia. All the flowers were blooming and it was perfect weather!

This was also a crazy weekend because Saturday after the wedding we made plans to go to dinner with all our old friends who had come in town for the wedding. Lesh came home after the wedding and went straight to bed, he then wakes up and says he feels like he got hit by a bus. I was like, "Oh, No!!" He had a 101 degree fever! I went to dinner with our friends with Nathaniel and Lesh stayed home in bed. The next morning was Easter and I was so excited to take Nathaniel to church in his cute Easter outfit. We woke up and Lesh had a mild fever so I was debating if we should go. Well, he felt a little better so we all got dressed and got Nathaniel in the car and I start walking toward our car. For those of you who have been to my house know I have a very steep driveway. I was wearing heels and I guess my ankle twisted and down I fell hard on the concrete and skid down on my knee. All I remember was being in a lot of pain and then being on my butt on the ground! Lesh turns around and is like are you okay? I was thinking for a minute that we could still make it to church. Then I looked at my knee... All bloody and scraped and throbbing! My ankle I could hardly even move! Lesh had to pick my up and help me get inside the house. We didn't make it to church. I was so upset! I sat on the couch all bandaged up with an icepack on my ankle.

At around noon Lesh helped me to the car and we celebrated Easter with Lesh's family. I was feeling a little better after taking that Ibuprofin that the hospital gave me after having Nathaniel. It has helped with the swelling. We had a great meal cooked by Denis- Lesh's dad and enjoyed the fellowship. After we headed over to my grandma's to see my family. We had a wonderful, but exhausting weekend.

The Wedding $500, Lesh getting the cold $15, Lesly falling down the driveway $10, celebrating Nathaniel's First Easter... Priceless!
